Chef, Atlanta Restaurateur and James Beard Award Nominee

The James Beard Foundation has announced the semifinalists for its 2013 Chef and Restaurant Awards and among the Atlanta honorees—of which there are several—is Cardamom Hill in the “Best New Restaurant” category. Open for just over a year, the restaurant serves the cuisine of Kerala, India. I spoke with Chef Asha Gomez to learn more about the nomination, her restaurant and the food she loves to cook.
