There’s no need to choose between relaxing mountain vistas and bustling Dollywood: Enjoy both during one getaway by staying at one of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain cabin.
Rental cabins are available now. Since you reserve a cabin all to yourself (and your travel companions), it’s an appealing accommodation option for maintaining social distance.
While there are abundant cabin rental options in the Great Smoky Mountains, from cozy one-bedroom to sprawling multi-bedroom layouts, when you opt for a Dollywood cabin it can feel like you’re staying at your friend Dolly’s place.
We adore the DreamMore Resort, which is located near Dollywood (and offers complimentary shuttle service for guests to the theme park), but on our most recent visit to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee we stayed in one of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins.
Consider them more to adore. The cabin was clean, conveniently located, private, and comfortable. And, of course, we could park a car in the driveway at no additional charge.
Unlike the Resort, the cabins aren’t decorated with nods to Dolly’s personal style. The décor is inspired by the Smoky Mountains and varies by unit. My one-bedroom log cabin was outfitted with a cozy leather couch, cushy queen-sized bed, game table, bunk bed (in a space not an official bedroom), hot tub (on the back patio), fully-equipped kitchen, and bear-themed knick-knacks—including a smile-inducing bear paw toilet paper holder.
Dollywood Cabins can lodge from one to 30 guests. Among the possible amenities that vary by cabin: private hot tub, on-site swimming pool, fireplace(s), home theater room, grills, bedside Jacuzzi in master suite, and more. Many cabins boast memory-making views, such as sunrise and/or sunset, long range mountain vistas, and the magnificent Mt. LeConte.
As a guest of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins you’ll enjoy exclusive discounts on tickets to area attractions.
If your stay includes Dollywood and you have already purchased tickets, you’ll be able to experience early Saturday entry to enjoy a select ride or attraction. Cabin guests can save on a Dollywood TimeSaver (get it for $39 per guest, per day rather than the regular $44) that will help you make the most of your time at Dollywood. Cabin guests also enjoy free parking in a reserved lot oat Dollywood and free parking at Dollywood’s Splash Country.
Dollywood & Dollywood’s Splash Country reopen June 15, 2020 to passholders and on June 17, 2020 to all guests. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa opens June 10. Read important health and safety guidelines before you go.
