When it comes to beef, do you prefer strip steak, filet, ribeye, ribs or some other cut? Whether staring at a menu or the grocery case, this is the sort of question that demands an answer. Rarely does an opportunity arise for thorough side-by-side taste-test comparison research. Your favorite may be based more upon tradition than taste.
Book a full churrasco experience at Fogo de Chão, and you can feast upon hot meats sliced off swords right onto your plate.
As if that’s not enough, there’s also a huge salad bar—stocked with actual green salads plus creative salads like butternut squash and cranberry, potato, caprese and others, as well as olives, peppers, pickles, cheese, and charcuterie. Because of course there is more meat.
A card near your water glass can be flipped from green—“serve me more meat please”—to red—“I can’t eat more meat right now”—as a handy way for you to signal the servers while continuing to stuff your mouth.
Whether you prefer rare, well done or somewhere in between, meat is sliced to suit your palate. It’s an all-you-can-eat extravagance with your plate routinely re-heaped with food without your even having to get up from the table.
Side dishes like polenta sticks, garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas are also included and served family-style for sharing. You can choose among several different sauces to complement your fire-roasted meats, like homemade hot sauce, chimichurri, horseradish sauce, and mint jelly.
There is no excuse to leave hungry. You might manage to save room for dessert, where options include cheesecake, lava cake and other sweets.
This new Dunwoody location is adjacent to The Spruill Center for the Arts, minutes from Perimeter Mall.
