30th annual event will be held at the Sea Pines Resort.
The Hilton Head Wine + Food Festival, the oldest festival of this kind on the east coast, will hold its 2015 event at The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
The festival’s signature Grand Tasting will be held on the 18th Lawn of the legendary Harbour Town Golf Links, while the popular Public Tasting will take place at the resort’s iconic Harbour Town Yacht Basin.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the festival will grow and expand in 2015 with new programming, including the addition of a designer show home and golf-focused events, as well as expanded accommodation considerations.
This year’s festival week offers a brand new schedule of events, including the “Par for the Cork” golf outing, “Sip and Stroll” marina celebration and themed vintner dinners at the resort’s newly renovated Plantation Golf Club.
“The festival is the oldest-running food and wine festival on the east coast, paralleling the Food and Wine Classic in Aspen,” said Tamara Bream, chairman of the festival board of directors. “We look forward to toasting our past accomplishments while welcoming future generations of festival goers.”
The 2015 festival spans the week of March 9 – 14, 2015, and offers an anticipated line-up of world-class vineyards, local and regional celebrity chefs, live entertainment and an array of visual and performing artists. The highly-acclaimed International Wine Judging Competition precedes the 2015 festival and will be held February 6 – 8.
