Renata Salon & Day Spa - Grapevine TX
Relax in Grapevine, Texas.

By Hope S. Philbrick

Tucked into a historic house just off Main Street in Grapevine, Texas is a little haven of style and serenity: Renata Salon & Day Spa.

Come here to refresh and rejuvenate, whether you need a new ‘do or want to feel like a whole new you.

The service offerings range from haircut and color to mani/pedi to deep tissue massages. Get scrubbed, waxed and/or massaged into a pampered puddle.

Every therapeutic massage is designed to alleviate stress. I opted for a basic hour-long massage ($75).

Renata Salon & Day Spa - Grapevine TXShortly after arrival, I was escorted upstairs and invited to strip down to my level of comfort then slip between soft sheets on a cozy table. The therapist re-entered the room and asked me to choose among lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree and peppermint oils. It was the last decision I needed to make for the next 60 minutes, which in and of itself made it possible to relax. Skilled hands working knots out of my road-weary muscles did the rest.

@21plusTravel Tip: If you’ve got the time, try the “Vino Venue” package at $275 for five hours—that’s right, 5 hours!—may be the best deal around: It includes a facial, sugar scrub, 30-minute massage, lunch, pedicure, plus shampoo and style.

@21plusTravel Tip: This spa’s pricing beats most competitors, but there are no shower facilities here, so plan an itinerary accordingly.

Odds of Encountering Children: Slim.
