Seasonal Traditions at The Rittenhouse

Philadelphia’s Premier Urban Retreat Celebrates the Season with Special Sips and Treats, Dazzling Décor, and Exclusive Experiences

The Rittenhouse, Philadelphia’s iconic luxury hotel, announced a series of festive activations and exclusive experiences for the holiday season. A must-visit destination for merrymakers of all ages, guests and locals will delight in classic traditions, including warm winter treats in the hotel lobby as well as new surprises, like a gingerbread house display created by the hotel’s culinary team and inspired by some of Philadelphia’s most noted attractions, featuring gingerbread replicas of Betsy Ross’s house and the Philadelphia Art Museum. Visitors can also indulge in a rejuvenating treatment at the new Rittenhouse Spa & Club – Hair by Paul Labrecque, located on the third floor of the hotel overlooking Rittenhouse Square and offering a restful haven from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Among the Christmas seasonal offerings likely to most appeal to adults…

In addition to the traditional tree-trimmings, The Rittenhouse this year introduces one-of-kind decorations that pay homage to Philadelphia while evoking the holiday spirit. On display near the entrance to The Library Bar will be gingerbread replicas of two Philadelphia landmarks, Betsy Ross’s house and the Philadelphia Art Museum, handmade out of gingerbread by The Rittenhouse’s culinary team, led by Pastry Chef Tova du Plessis. The spectacle complements the hotel’s unique place in Philadelphia’s history. Additionally, this year’s holiday décor is designed by locally-based landscape design firm, Terrain.
