Historic Inn’s 101st Season Brings New Estate Homes for Guests
For more than a century, The Gasparilla Inn & Club has evoked the genteel experience of ‘Florida as it was meant to be’ through its superb amenities and timeless traditions. New for the National Historic Landmark’s 101st season, which debuts October 9th, is the addition of five estate homes. The expansive new accommodations will be available to guests starting spring of 2015. Additionally, The Inn is offering a variety of getaway packages, including the October Welcome Back and the Fall Bed & Breakfast escape.
“Many of our guests have been visiting The Inn for generations and use their vacation as a time to gather the whole family together,” said Jon Reecher, General Manager of The Gasparilla Inn & Club. “Our estate homes’ design will preserve the same ‘Old Florida’ charm found throughout The Inn. We’re excited to offer such a unique settling for families, friends as well as weddings and groups.”
Just steps away from The Inn, the estate homes include both three and four bedroom options, and range from 2,300 to 3,850 square feet. The spacious homes feature kitchen, dining and living areas with an open layout – ideal for relaxing together – as well as amenities such as a washer and dryer, screened lanai and front porch.
Throughout its season The Inn is offering a breadth of getaway options, from spa to golf. One of the best deals of the season is the October Welcome Back package, which includes deluxe accommodations and access to The Inn’s private Beach Club. Available from Sunday to Thursday from October 9-31, 2014, Welcome Back package rates start at $200 per room, per night.
Best for couples seeking an escape at a leisurely pace is The Inn’s Fall Bed and Breakfast package. Enjoy deluxe accommodations as well as sumptuous breakfast for two in The Main Dining Room courtesy of Executive Chef Seth Shipley. Available from Sunday to Thursday during November and December 1-18, Bed & Breakfast package rates start at $250 per room, per night.
Favorite activities at The Inn include golfing on the pristine Pete Dye 18-hole championship course; sport-fishing with the full-service Inn Marina; tennis on seven Har-Tru courts; swimming in a large pool at the The Inn’s private Beach Club, croquet on USCA-certified lawns, the award-winning Gasparilla Inn Spa, and a fully-appointed fitness center. Gasparilla Inn Adventures offers bicycling, kayaking, golf carts and other recreational activities for all ages.
