The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort
Savor the star treatment.

By Hope S. Philbrick

Waking up after a night of deep, satisfying sleep is one of life’s basic joys.

Is there any way to improve upon it?

Yes! Wake up to the knowledge that you’ve got a spa appointment in a half hour. You’ll hit the shower with an extra spring in your step.

The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore ResortThe Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort is located on the first floor, so just an elevator ride down from whichever guestroom you happen to occupy during your stay.

Step through the glass doors into a haven of bliss for a star treatment, like the Signature Songbird Massage (starting at $90 for 50 minutes), a relaxing, rejuvenating indulgence.

The therapist steps out of the room after offering instructions to strip down to your level of comfort then slip between soft sheets on a cozy table—fair warning: the massage tables at this spa are sublime and may spoil you for all time with their gracious curves to hug your body and built-in warmth.

Once you’re settled in, the therapist re-enters the room and gets to work with skilled hands erasing knots out of road-weary stressed-out muscles. In my case, the spa ended on my back rather than starting there, which was like saving the best for last.

Service offerings also include nail treatments, facials, deep tissue massages and body treatments. Get scrubbed, buffed, polished and/or massaged into pampered paradise.

It’s the perfect way to start a day.
