I use the fresh fruit to prepare past favorite recipes plus create at least one new drink recipe that showcases the peaches’ juicy deliciousness.
Titan Farms is the largest peach grower in South Carolina—and the nation’s second biggest in the nation. Titan Farms grows more peaches than the entire state of Georgia! Best of all, the peaches are reliably delicious.
This year’s recipe is extra refreshing and starts with frozen peach slices. With record high temperatures, I think we all deserve a tasty way to cool off.
Titan Peach Cooler
Approx. 1 cup / 14-18 frozen peach slices
6 oz. peach cider
4 oz. spiced rum
2 Tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice OR 2 Tablespoons plain yogurt
1 cup ice
Place ingredients into a blender and whiz until blended to desired consistency. Pour into stemmed glasses. Garnish with drizzle of mulberry or blackberry syrup and a fancy straw.
Yield 3 drinks, depending on the size of your glassware.
NOTES: I peeled the peaches before slicing, then froze slices in a single layer. The drink is equally tasty whether using lime juice or plain yogurt. Both ingredients add a tangy note. Use whichever one you have on hand, or go for lime if you prefer a daquiri-like sipper and use yogurt if you dig the idea of a rum smoothie.
