Vin Santo

Arrive hungry. Leave stuffed with happiness.

Skip lunch.

Maybe breakfast, too.

The serving portions at Vin Santo, which has been family owned and operated since 1998, are enormous. Make that ginormous.

And the food, cooked with loving attention to detail, is so good that you won’t want to leave a morsel on the plate.

Inspired by the culinary traditions of the Mediterranean coast, Chef Gregg Edwardsen gives traditional Italian fare a twist of fresh Wisconsin flair.

The best-seller, Ravioli al Vin Santo, is a heap of jumbo pasta pillows stuffed with spinach, ricotta, pecorino, and artichoke hearts, then topped with a robust sun-dried tomato cream sauce ($16).

The casual dining room invites diners to sit back and relax. Friendly servers—including Edwardsen’s wife, who floats from table to table fussing over guests in the dining room—do more than take and deliver orders. They pamper you until you feel like a member of the family.
