West Egg Café

Hot breakfast destination on Atlanta GA's Westside.

Here’s a tasty way to start any day:

The Georgia Benedict at West Egg Café tops a split biscuit with turkey sausage, two eggs and pours white turkey sausage gravy over the whole ensemble. It comes with a choice of sides, opt for the garlic roasted grits over the skillet potatoes.

All white on a white plate (aside from a few chives for some visual contrast), it’s not much to look at. But it’s delicious; you’ll find yourself craving another helping of this breakfast all week long.

Coca-Cola CupcakeThen buy a treat to take home for an afternoon snack…if you can resist eating it immediately:

The Coca-Cola cupcakes are based on the owner’s grandmother’s recipe and as comforting as a hug. Dense crumbs have caramelized sugar and spicy-sweet flavors reminiscent of the namesake soda that is a key ingredient. Coca-Cola cream cheese frosting forms a sweet crown.

Nibble these dishes alongside any of the made-to-order coffee drinks featuring locally-roasted Batdorf & Bronson coffee and espresso.
